Mykonos

There are, however, two faces to this island that not many people know of. The first one is the obviously intense, shiny and cosmopolitan aspect of it, and the other one is particularly picturesque, with stone-paved alleys, whitewashed houses, country chapels and windmills, that ooze calm and peace. Chora is quite an impressive and picturesque Cycladic town. At Ano Mera little village stands the historic monastery of Panagia Tourliani. In the main square you will find a wide range of traditional tavernas. For a taste of culture and history, take a boat trip to nearby Delos Island, where light was born, an impressive archaeological site and feel the positive energy emerging from the marble and soil.

Enjoy a day cruise to Delos & a stop for a swim to the nearby Rhenia island famous for its turquoise crystal clear waters.
